Head of Layout

Beginning his career as a junior animator in Glasgow, John is now Head of Layout at Wildchild in Stirling, via studios across Europe from Copenhagen to Paris.  John has contributed to dozens of game cinematics and cutscenes, as well as the occasional feature film, but is happiest when working on long format tv shows.  John believes storytelling is what makes us human, and considers it both a privilege and responsibility, especially when those stories are for children. When not spending his days crafting myths and fables, John supports Glasgow’s Green and White and consumes more media than the government recommended daily intake.
