Founder – Creative Director

Will Adams is a BAFTA-winning Creative Director, Episodic Director and Co-Founder of Wild Child Animation. For 20 years, he led Once Were Farmers, crafting stories across animation, live action, and visual effects honing his refining his expertise across multiple disciplines. In the founders of Wild Child, he found like-minded collaborators who shared his passion and values, creating the perfect opportunity to channel his experience into what he loves most, creating long form episodic animation.

As Co-Founder, Creative Director splits his time between shaping the direction of the company as whole and the creative. Shaping the creative direction of the projects on our slate ensuring that every element of a project moves in the same direction. By bringing teams and clients together under a unified vision, he ensures consistency and impact across all work. Will thrives in Wild Child’s highly collaborative environment, where innovation and storytelling go hand in hand.

As an Episodic Director, Will led Toad & Friends (Warner Bros.) and helped develop Piri Penguins (BBC), known for its blend of 2D characters and rich 3D worlds. With the Scottish Film Talent Network, he produced the BAFTA-winning short Widdershins (2018) and directed the horror short Nothing to Declare, written by Frank Quitely. In contrast, he also art-directed the soft, tactile world of Hushabye Lullabye for CBeebies.
